Now concerning w the times and the seasons, brothers, 1
My brothers and sisters I want to take some time now and tackle the issue that has to do with the exact date as well as hour of Jesus second coming,
x you have no need to have anything written to you.
by saying that none of you has the necessity of receiving inside this letter, answers to the subject just mention above.
For you yourselves are fully aware
Why is that? because each one of you is very mindful of the fact
that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.
that Jesus second coming is going to be similar to a burglar who gets inside a house and doesn't previously alert the homeowners of the specific date that he is going to be there.
While people are saying, “There is peace and security,”
In the same way , when the global population will be saying: "these are great times that we are living, full of global peace and security",
then z sudden destruction will come upon them a as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman,
then they will be totally surprised by how quick God's judgement will fall upon them similar to the pains a pregnant woman suffers when she has broken water and is going to deliver,
and they will not escape.
as well as the reality that they won't have any opportunity of avoiding this event. They will not run away from God's wrath!
But you are not in darkness, brothers,
However , I want you to know my fellow brothers and sisters that you are not unbelievers (does who are in spiritual and moral darkness),
for that day to surprise you like a thief.
to be taken by surprised when Jesus comes back again in a similar way to the burglar we just quoted.
For you are all children of light, children of the day.
Because each one of you has had the opportunity to believe in Jesus, making you sons and daughters of the spiritual and moral daylight.
We are not of the night or of the darkness.
None of us belongs to the spiritual and moral gloom that characterizes those who haven't been saved by our Master.
So then let us not sleep, as others do,
For this reason may none of us be found, spiritually speaking, sleeping as the rest of the world does,
but let us keep awake and be sober.
but on the contrary been always on guard as well as not been influenced by nothing of the world that could obfuscate the truth that Jesus is coming back again.
For those who sleep, sleep at night,
Because you know that (metaphorically speaking) is during the night that people are sleeping (there not alert),
and those who get drunk, g are drunk at night.
and is during night hours that they get stoned, losing control of their senses.
But since we belong to the day , let us be sober,
Nonetheless knowing that all of us are part of the spiritual daylight (those who have believe in Jeus), let us not lose our spiritual senses and forget that He is coming back.
h having put on the breastplate of i faith and love,
The way for us to maintain our spiritual senses is by dressing ourselves (figuratively speaking and just like our God does in Isaiah 59:17 ) with an armor to protect our hearts, with the faith that He will come back again and love for Him and the fellow brothers ,
and for a helmet the hope of salvation.
as well as protecting your heads with the desire to see Him coming for us and rescuing us.
For God has not destined us for wrath,
Knowing that the intentions God has for all of us, His sons, and daughters, is not to poor out His holy wrath upon us as with the rest of the unbelievers,
but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
but by the contrary , the intentions that He has for us, is to be saved from the day of Judgement through the salvation acquired on our behalf by Jesus Christ,
l who died for us so that whether we are awake
the one that gave His life for us on the cross in order that if either we are alive
or asleep we might live with him.
or if we have died, all of us may live forever with Him, when He comes back for us.
Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
For this reason, I want to command you, as you are currently doing with each other, to speak words with one another that can help you maintain your level of awareness for Jesus return, as well as increasing each other's hope of looking forward to seeing Him face to face.

Meditation: Even though it is not explicit, put something than this text is pushing me to is to preach the gospel to the unlost, knowing that there will be a day when none of those who have not believed in God will escape from His judgement. This truly compels me. The other thing that draws my attention is what is evident, that is to be sober (spiritual senses alert), because Jesus will come back by surprise. A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to do a study on the word sober, and something that I learned was, that a sober minded person, is one that is not influenced by nothing exterior our interior (from the heart), but is led by convictions, and in this case that conviction should form the reality that Jesu Christ is coming back again! Next Steps: I firstly want to thank the team of BibleArc for this course that has been a blessing not only on me but on my family. Thank you, brothers, for your effort and love for the Word of God that is so evident. My next step is to study the book of Ephesians, implementing what I have learned in the Paraphrase course and sharing this we my wife and brothers in the faith. I also have in mind to share the Paraphrase technic to others in the future.
