Central Idea of the passage is Paul going to Jerusalem after 14 years to clarfy the gospel The passage on Titus Circumcission seems to have been added by Paul just in the flow of the narration of events . It seems like an unnecessary insertion but given the context of the letter to galatians being wrong teachings mainly pertaining to the following of the LAW as we see in the later chapters. So in the chapter it seems like a tangent but on seeing the whole bookit makes sense
