Καὶ ἐξελθὼν ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἀπὸ τοῦ ἱεροῦ ἐπορεύετο, καὶ προσῆλθον οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ ἐπιδεῖξαι αὐτῷ τὰς οἰκοδομὰς τοῦ ἱεροῦ.
And coming out from the temple, Jesus was going away, and his disciples came up to point out the buildings of the temple to him.
ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς• οὐ βλέπετε ταῦτα πάντα; ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, οὐ μὴ ἀφεθῇ ὧδε λίθος ἐπὶ λίθον ὃς οὐ καταλυθήσεται.
Now answering, he said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Truly, I tell you, not one stone upon stone will be left here that will not be thrown down.”

“Tell us, when will these be, and what [will be] the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

And answering, Jesus said to them,
βλέπετε μή τις ὑμᾶς πλανήσῃ•
“See that no one leads you astray.
πολλοὶ γὰρ ἐλεύσονται ἐπὶ τῷ ὀνόματί μου λέγοντες• ἐγώ εἰμι ὁ χριστός, καὶ πολλοὺς πλανήσουσιν.
For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ, and they will lead many astray.’

Now you are about to hear wars and rumors of wars.
ὁρᾶτε μὴ θροεῖσθε•
See that you are not alarmed,
δεῖ γὰρ γενέσθαι,
for it is bound to happen,
ἀλλʼ οὔπω ἐστὶν τὸ τέλος.
but it is not yet the end.

Then they will hand you over to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations
διὰ τὸ ὄνομά μου.

καὶ τότε σκανδαλισθήσονται πολλοὶ καὶ ἀλλήλους παραδώσουσιν καὶ μισήσουσιν ἀλλήλους•
And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another.
καὶ πολλοὶ ψευδοπροφῆται ἐγερθήσονται καὶ πλανήσουσιν πολλούς•
And many false prophets will be raised up and lead many astray.
καὶ διὰ τὸ πληθυνθῆναι τὴν ἀνομίαν ψυγήσεται ἡ ἀγάπη τῶν πολλῶν.
And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.

ὁ δὲ ὑπομείνας εἰς τέλος οὗτος σωθήσεται.
Now the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.
καὶ κηρυχθήσεται τοῦτο τὸ εὐαγγέλιον τῆς βασιλείας ἐν ὅλῃ τῇ οἰκουμένῃ εἰς μαρτύριον πᾶσιν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν, καὶ τότε ἥξει τὸ τέλος.
And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole inhabited world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”
