1 Thessalonians 5:12-28
Christian Conduct 12 But we request of you, brethren, that you 1 a appreciate those b who diligently labor among you, and c have charge over you in the Lord and give you 2 instruction, 13 and that you esteem them very highly in love because of their work. a Live in peace with one another. 14 We urge you, brethren, admonish a the 1 unruly, encourage b the fainthearted, help c the weak, be d patient with everyone. 15 See that a no one repays another with evil for evil, but always b seek after that which is good for one another and for all people. 16 a Rejoice always; 17 a pray without ceasing; 18 in everything a give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 19 a Do not quench the Spirit; 20 do not despise a prophetic 1 utterances. 21 But a examine everything carefully; b hold fast to that which is good; 22 abstain from every 1 form of evil. 23 Now a may the God of peace b Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your c spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, d without blame at e the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 a Faithful is He who b calls you, and He also will bring it to pass. 25 Brethren, a pray for us 1 . 26 a Greet all the brethren with a holy kiss. 27 I adjure you by the Lord to a have this letter read to all the b brethren. 28 a The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
