Protecting the Love of God within the Church
What does it mean to "keep yourselves in the love of God?" This imperative is the reason we have Jude.

The apostles foretold the coming of men who would bring sin and division within the church in the latter days. Therefore, keep yourselves (collectively) in the love of God, that is extending judicious mercy to all. So, to the only God who can keep you be glory forever.

that they were saying to you,
“ a In the last time there will be mockers,
b following after their own ungodly lusts.”
