Lessons Learned Main Point: Our Christian Liberties are to be within the Limits of God's Laws. 1. v. 12: Just because under the law of grace, God forgives us for the sins we commit, does not necessarily follow that he will free us from the consequences (harm and control) of those sins. 2. v. 13a-c: The argument from nature does not equally apply to the sexual nature of the body. The sexual desires of the body are to be controlled and only fulfilled within the context of marriage between a husband and wife. 3. v. 13d-f: Our body is to be given to the Lord for his purposes, not ours. Cf. Romans 12:1-2
