Hebrews 1:1-4
Long ago, at many times and a in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets,
God spoke to our fathers by the prophets in the past, before Jesus,
but b in these last days c he has spoken to us by d his Son,
but now, when Jesus came, God has spoken directly to us by his Son,
whom he appointed e the heir of all things,
whom, He was appointed the heir of all things, by God,
f through whom also he created g the world.
and God created the world through His Son, Jesus.
He is the radiance of the glory of God
By Jesus being the shining glory of God
and h the exact imprint of his nature,
and having the exact holy, perfect nature of God
and he upholds the universe by the word of his power.
and having absolute power over all,
i After making purification for sins,
He is able, and the only one who can, make purification for our sins. And after doing this,
j he sat down k at the right hand of the Majesty on high,
Jesus took His right place with God, at His right hand,
having become as much superior to angels
and as a resul t of this, Jesus is much superior to angels
as the name l he has inherited is more excellent than theirs.
that is , he is superior to angels and his name is more excellent than the angels because Jesus is the Son of God and he has purified us of our sins.
