There is not really a lot of "new" instruction in this section, as Paul relates how Tychicus will let the Ephesians know how things are going with him. This will also have the effect of calming their hearts, as they will know that Paul is doing well, and that he is still invested in looking after their well-being in prayer, expressed through these words (the book of Ephesians). There seem to be two closing exhortations, one commending peace to them and love (with faith) from God and the other commending the grace of God to them as inspiration as continuing on boldly.
