Questions in this section: Q: What type of "love" is being talked about in verse 17b? Is it God's eternal love, manifested in Christ, or is it the love that believers show to each other? How does this relate to the other instances of "love" in Ephesians? A: Q: How does "having been rooted and established" have to do with verses 17 and 18? There seems to be a progression from Christ living by faith in one's heart to comprehending the scope of the love of Christ... A: Q: Is knowing the love of Christ in 19a the way/manner that one can be filled with the fullness of God (19b) or is being filled the intended purpose of something else? A: Q: How does the benediction-type ending of chapter three (verses 20-21) flow from the rest of this prayer? Why does Paul end his prayer this way? A: *Note* I didn't get around to answering the questions with the timing of this week...I only spent an hour or so doing any Greek between Monday and Thursday...and it was for a good reason!!! Now the question is how will I be able to love my wife in the way that God has loved us....
