12 Not that I have already obtained this or have already been perfected, but I chase after it on the basis that I have been laid hold of by Christ Jesus.
13 Brothers, I do not consider that of myself I have taken hold of it, but one thing I do, while forgetting the things behind and straining forward to the things ahead,
14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
15 Let as many of those who are mature, let us think this way, and if you are thinking otherwise in anything, God will also reveal this to you.
16 Only upon which we have attained let us walk with the same (rules, standards, thinking?).

17 Brothers, join together in imitating me, and keep your eyes on those who walk according to the example you have in us.
18 For many are walking, I have often told you and now I tell you even with tears, those are enemies of the cross of Christ.
19 Of whom the end is destruction, of whom the god is the belly of them, and the glory is in the shame of them. They are ones thinking earthly things.
20 (Referring back to 17) For our citizenship is in heaven, from where also we eagerly await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,
21 who will transform body of our humiliation to be conformed to the body of his glory, according to the workings of the same power by which he has also subdued all things under him.
4:1 Therefore, my brothers, the loved and longed for, my joy and crown, in this way, beloved, stand firm in the Lord.
