No matter how religious you think you are, yet fail to guard what you say, then your religion is worthless. True and pure religion in the sight of God is caring for the needy and holiness. --This is somehow similar to the command stated in Luke 10:27 " You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart , and with all your soul , and with all your strength , and with all your mind ; and your neighbor as yourself .” If you love the Lord with all your heart, soul, strength and mind, then you will keep yourself unstained or unpolluted by the world. And living your neighbor as yourself can mean caring for orphans and widows in their distress. That's true religion! And it is a great commandment.
