a Therefore, since we have been justified by faith ,
BECAUSE we have been saved by faith
b we 1 have peace with God
THEREFORE, we have peace with God
inference
through our Lord Jesus Christ.
BY the atoning work of Christ
actionmanner
Through him we have also c obtained access by faith 1 into this grace
AS A RESULT, we have gained the ability to have fellowship with and blessing from God
d in which we stand,
RESULTING IN our actual possession of it
actionresult
and e we 2 rejoice 3 in hope of the glory of God.
THEREFORE, we are filled with joy as people who have peace and fellowship with God that God will keep us to the end displaying His glory
Not only that,
AS A RESULT, our joy is NOT just fixated on the coming glory
but we f rejoice in our sufferings,
BUT we also are filled with joy now as we suffer/are persecuted
knowing that suffering g produces endurance,
BECAUSE we know that suffering helps us persevere
and endurance produces character,
THEN persevering builds up holiness
and character produces hope ,
THEN holiness assures us that God will keep us till the end
progression
and h hope does not put us to shame,
BUT our assurance that God will always be for us will not result in shame
because God’s love i has been poured into our hearts
BECAUSE we know who this very God is and how much He loves us
through the Holy Spirit
BY the testimony of the Spirit
who has been given to us.
IN OTHER WORDS, He has given us the Holy Spirit as a seal/consideration/sign of assurance of His love for us

k Christ died for the ungodly.
Christ died for sinners
temporal
For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—
WHAT I MEAN IS that someone will rarely die for someone good
though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die—
EVEN THOUGH sometimes this happens
concessive
but l God shows his love for us
BUT God proves His love for us
in that m while we were still sinners,
EVEN THOUGH we are sinners/not good
Christ died for us.
BY sending His Son to die for us
Since, therefore, n we have now been justified by his blood,
AS A RESULT, BECAUSE we are justified by the death of Christ
much more shall we be saved by him from o the wrath of God.
THEREFORE, we shall not suffer the wrath of God
For if p while we were enemies
BECAUSE IF, WHEN we were haters (as ppl disobedient to the law)
q we were reconciled to God
God still brought us to Himself
by the death of his Son,
BY Christ's sacrifice
much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by r his life.
THEN, now as people who love God and are brought to God, we live liberated in our identification with Christ's resurrection!
conditional
More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
AS A RESULT, not only are we saved, but we are now full of joy and able to worship God properly (without fear of wrath)
through whom we have now received s reconciliation.
BECAUSE in Christ, we have been reconciled to God
Therefore, just as t sin came into the world through one man,
THEREFORE, IF A (man) commits B (sin)
and u death through sin,
AND IF C (death) happens because of B (sin)
and v so death spread to all men 1
THEN C (death) is an inevitability of every A (man)
because w all sinned—
BECAUSE every A (man) has done B (sin)
for sin indeed was in the world
WHAT I MEAN IS that sin was inherent in the world
before the law was given,
EVEN BEFORE the actual receipt of the written law
but x sin is not counted where there is no law.
AND DESPITE the fact that sin cannot be imputed on those whom for which there is no law
Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses,
NEVERTHELESS, death came to all men (including those between Adam and Moses)
even over those whose sinning was not y like the transgression of Adam,
EVEN for those who committed less grievous crimes than Adam
z who was a type of a the one who was to come.
BECAUSE Adam foreshadowed the imputation that was to come
But the free gift is not like the trespass.
NEVERTHELESS, Christ's gift is not like Adam's consequence
For if many died through one man’s trespass,
BECAUSE IF through Adam's sin all men were destined for death
much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for b many.
THEN the gift shows the abundant grace and righteousness of God through Christ in forgiving all trespasses (sufficient for clearing away all transgressions).
And the free gift is not like the result of that one man’s sin.
FURTHERMORE, the result of receiving the gift of Christ is not like the judgment we received in Adam
For c the judgment following one trespass brought condemnation,
BECAUSE Adam's sin brought NO chance of pardon
but the free gift following many trespasses brought d justification.
RATHER, we can receive freely, despite our sinfulness, righteousness (life) without trial/judgment under the law - the law does not apply
For if, because of one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one man,
IN OTHER WORDS, IF through Adam's sin, sin and death mastered those who came after
much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness e reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.
THEN through Christ, who is greater than Adam ever was and who has defeated sin and death, grace and righteousness will abound in our life so that we reign with/through Christ (and shall not be judged).
bilateral
Therefore, as one trespass 1 led to condemnation for all men,
IN OTHER WORDS, JUST AS one man who sinned initiated and imputed condemning sin to every person
so one act of righteousness 2 leads to justification and life for f all men.
SO TOO, Christ's righteousness brings justification to all who believe
comparison
For as by the one man’s g disobedience
IN OTHER WORDS, JUST AS one man disobeyed
the many were made sinners,
RESULTING IN the imputation of sin to the all
so by the one man’s h obedience
SO TOO as one man who was obedient to the law
the many will be made righteous.
RESULTS IN the imputation of righteousness to all (who believe)
Now i the law came in
MORE SPECIFICALLY, the law was given
to increase the trespass,
IN ORDER TO SHOW man that he was sinful
actionpurpose
but where sin increased,
The law served to show that sin abounded in our self-righteousness
j grace abounded all the more,
DESPITE THIS, grace prevailed
so that, k as sin reigned in death,
IN ORDER THAT, JUST AS sin mastered us by leading to death
l grace also might reign
SO TOO grace shall liberate us
through righteousness
BY another man's righteousness
leading to eternal life
RESULTING in life forever
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
BY BEING in fellowship with Jesus

No distinction - love poured into our hearts is the same as the Holy Spirit given to us. God's love manifests itself in our possession of His Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit testifies to us that God loves us.
1) We have peace with God 2) We are filled with joy at the assurance that God will accomplish His purposes 3) We are filled with joy because God seeks to accomplish those purposes through us by the aid of the Holy Spirit.
We rejoice because we have been justified by faith - both in the positive news (peace with God and access into His family) and in the difficult news (our suffering). In everything, we rejoice, because God has saved us.
