BECAUSE man [and woman] have traded their knowledge and affections for God for things he created, and have failed to acknowledge Him as God, God gives them up to be ruled by these things (unnatural/ungodly things)
For their women exchanged natural relations
IN OTHER WORDS, women worshiped themselves and became infatuated with themselves, seeking to please what is like them
for those that are contrary to nature;
RESULTING in doing things that they are not supposed to be doing [in accordance with God's design]

SIMILARLY, men worship themselves and abandoned women for other men
and were consumed with passion for one another,
RESULTING in unnatural and ungodly relations amongst themselves
