Main point summary
God's command is this: 1) exercise the spiritual gifts for the benefit of the whole church, and 2) exercise such gifts selflessly, with integrity, and in orderly peace. For example, for those who are to speak in tongues in the public assembly, speak in succession and with an interpreter so that all may be encouraged. For those who are to prophesy, speak one by one realizing that each revelation is from the Holy Spirit to help and not to harm the congregation, for God seeks to unify his people. When there is prophesy, judge what is said, and women submit in silence to the critique of the elders. Your submission is affirmed by the similar practice of all the other churches, and furthermore, it is something prescribed in creation order itself. Should you desire to inquire further about a prophesy, inquire of it with your husband at home, where he can lead, teach and sanctify you as you ask.

What then, brothers?
Brothers [and sisters] , what then is to become of these gifts?
When you come together,
WHEN you gather
each one has q a hymn,
some of you will have a hymn
r a lesson,
OR some will have a lesson
r a revelation,
OR some will have a prophesy
s a tongue,
OR some will have an encouragement in another language
or t an interpretation.
OR some will be able to interpret that language

u Let all things be done for building up.
MY ANSWER: Do everything for the building up of God's church.

If any speak in s a tongue,
FOR EXAMPLE, 1) if there are tongue speakers
let there be only two or at most three,
THEN let there be only two, max three
conditional
and each in turn,
WITH only one speaking at a time
and let someone interpret.
AND with someone interpreting
progression
actionmanner
But if there is no one to interpret,
HOWEVER, if no one can interpret
let each of them keep silent in church
THEN don't speak in tongues
and speak to himself
RATHER, speak to yourself
and to God.
AND speak to God.

Let two or three prophets speak,
AND FOR EXAMPLE, 2) let two or three people with a word from God speak
and let the others v weigh what is said.
THEN let the matter prophecies be critiqued/explained/rationalized
If a revelation is made to another sitting there,
HOWEVER, IF someone receives a sudden word that is not a part of the original two or three
w let the first be silent.
THEN let the first prophesier wait until after the one with the sudden revelation
For you can all prophesy one by one,
BECAUSE you will all get the chance to prophesy
so that all may learn
WITH THE RESULT THAT all may learn
and all be encouraged,
AND BY LEARNING, all may be encouraged
and the spirits of prophets are subject to prophets.
AND that encouragement extends to other prophesiers and their learning from those who prophesy - all are led by the Holy Spirit to prophesy to help the congregation.

For God is not a God of x confusion
FOR God does not contradict himself (or create disunity)
but of peace.
RATHER, he brings, maintains and restores peace
ground
As in y all the churches of the saints,
TO CLARIFY, be consistent with every Christian church
z the women should keep silent in the churches.
WHAT I MEAN TO SAY IS, women should not over speak (be quiet aside from praying and prophesying - Ch. 11)
For they are not permitted to speak,
BECAUSE they aren't supposed to carry out the office of the elder
but a should be in submission,
RATHER, they are to submit to their authority (1 Cor 11 and 1 Tim 2)
as b the Law also says.
WHICH IS ALSO EXPRESSED in the very order of creation (Gen 2)
If there is anything they desire to learn,
INSTEAD, IF they want to learn/critique a prophesy
let them ask their husbands at home.
THEN let them ask and learn at home
For it is shameful for a woman to speak in church.
BECAUSE she isn't to exercise the office of an elder at church
Or was it from you that the word of God came?
OR do you go against the churches of the saints and the law, as if you were the one to whom God directly gave the instructions?
Or are you the only ones it has reached?
AND are you distinct from all other churches and from the law?
c If anyone thinks that he is a prophet,
IF anyone thinks they have a word to share
or spiritual,
OR if anyone is receiving from the Holy Spirit
he should acknowledge that the things I am writing to you are a command of the Lord.
THEN acknowledge that this command is from God
If anyone does not recognize this,
HOWEVER, IF you do not acknowledge that the command is from God
he is not recognized.
THEN you are not truly one with the body/prophets
So, my brothers, d earnestly desire to prophesy,
THEREFORE, desire to prophesy (earnestly)
and do not forbid speaking in tongues.
AND permit tongues in church
e But all things should be done decently
BUT do it with integrity
and f in order.
IN OTHER WORDS, do it in order
bilateral
Prophesying and praying are not teaching or exercising authority. Women not being able to weigh prophesies = a part of teaching or governing, which is prohibited in 1 Tim 2:10-12
Everyone, even those who prophesy, benefit from others prophesying
