Who is wise and understanding among you?
Those of you who are wise and understanding

If you give way to envy and strife,
do not boast and be false to the truth.

Such wisdom opposes all which you profess and misrepresents Christ.
For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist,
Envy that excites such ambition
there will be disorder and every vile practice.
introduces confusion and evil behavior.
But r the wisdom from above is first pure, then s peaceable, gentle, open to reason, t full of mercy and good fruits, u impartial and v sincere.
But the wisdom God gives, brings with it a cluster of rewards.....
And w a harvest of righteousness x is sown in peace by those who make peace.
This type of wisdom also produces eternal fruit.
Selfish ambition and strife do not accompany godly wisdom. They instead poison the spirit and blind us to true understanding.
Godly wisdom consists of both pure wholesome words and behavior that supports these words.
Holy zeal and bitter envy are as different as the flames of seraphim and the fires of hell.
Wisdom received from God reflects his own purity . Nothing but holiness is found to debase this righteousness.
An empathetic attitude free from quarrels.
Thoughtful and respectful of other people´s feelings
Willing to listen to and obey others
One who demonstrates charity in broad measure.
